hi alle ich wollte eben auf den upc server connecten und was passiert?
aktualisierung von steam!
nur hab ich da ein problem!
isr es normal oder nur bei mir so dass das ewig dauert und auch zwischen durch mal komplett hängt? ich grieg die kriese!
da will mann mal wieder seit ewigkeiten zoggn und dann das! :-|

hatte ich auch. und da ich ungeduldig bin, hab ich einfach cancel geklickt, als sich nix mehr getan hat und steam neu gestartet. und danach lief die Install ganz flink ... komisch das.

Bei mir ging es ausnahmsweise auch ziemlich flott, aber im allgemeinen hilft einmal Steam neustarten wirklich wahre Wunder.

das is egal ob du ne 3 Mbit leitung hast, ob du ne 1mbit oder 10 Mbit leitung hast ...

das problem liegt bei Steam....d.h. wenn Steam ueberlastet ist, isses egal ob du ne 10 mbit leitung hast oder Modem :-D ...
haengen bleibt es trotzdem smile ...
ich persoenlich hatte bis jetzt nur einmal nen Problem mitm Steam Update....musste ca 20 min warten bis das update endlich geladen war großes Grinsen ....

Bei mir hilft da immer:

1. Abbrechen sobald es laenger als 1 Min. haengt
2. Neu updaten

Wenn man dann mal einen guten connect hat ist alles in paar Minuten erledigt.
Laenger als 1 Minute warten bringt IMHO nix, da kommt dann auch nix mehr.

clientregistry.blob

Die liegt im Steam-Hauptverzeichnis!

Auch wenn dieser Weg oft bei Problemen mit Steam hilft: Das Problem hier liegt an ausgelasteten Content Servern (Valve spricht gerne von \"DOS Attacken\"), wenn man zu so einem verbunden wird, ist alles Mist. Daher einfach, wie Rozzi beschrieb, mehrfach versuchen, bis man auf einem guten System haengt.
